Transaction Highlights

CIGP advised its client on a minority investment in a leading Fintech company based in Hong Kong through a convertible note. CIGP assisted in assessing the investment, as well as reviewing the commercial terms and structure of the transaction.

The target company is an innovative platform seeking to fill a gap in the trade finance / factor markets by acting as an intermediary between investors and companies looking to finance their trade receivables. At the time of the transaction, it was the only such platform regulated by the Hong Kong's regulator Securities and Futures Commission.
